Till such time India comes out of a religious identity crisis, it cannot be a super power or an economic force to be dealt with. India's constitution says its a secular republic, but its history does not. For India, unity among various religions is not an inherent feature, but an inevitablity, a compulsion to thwart the neighbours on the north east and the west.
